THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As a Sr. Manager, Technology Alliance Partnerships, you are responsible for defining and executing on our corporate strategy to expand Tripwire?s ecosystem of partner-oriented products and solutions.
Working closely with Product Management, Marketing, Corporate/Business Development and Engineering, you will lead the efforts to refine our Technology Alliance Partner Program, assess candidate companies to join the program, manage active members in the program, and ensure deliverables and goals are met in order to demonstrate the mutual value of the partnerships.
Success in this role is defined by achieving the perfect balance between investment in expanding the ecosystem of technology partnerships and mutual growth of solution sales with customers, channel partners, and systems integrators.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Refine the current Technology Alliance Partner Program to ensure optimal sales growth in our partner ecosystem of joint products & solutions
Develop and maintain balanced relationships with technology partnerships worldwide
Define technology and business objectives of each partnership, and actively engage with product management, marketing, and engineering on specific deliverables and commitments
Serve as the evangelist for our technology partnerships externally and internally
Actively evaluate and report on business metrics and achievements/milestones for each partner and the program as a whole, and execute on regular relationship status reviews
Support joint go-to-market activities and deliverables with partners that may include trade shows, field training, field/sales/partner team mapping, and generation of collateral and press/analyst materials regarding the partnerships.
Drive the definition and manage all supporting program documents and process for partner program acceptance through discussions with our legal and finance teams.
Working independently, the Sr. Manager, Technology Alliance Partnerships resolves a wide range of diverse problems utilizing personal judgment and experience to develop solutions in a creative manner.
Interacts with employees at all levels of the organization and takes personal responsibility for meeting the needs of the partner while demonstrating an understanding of business objectives. Authority to act within defined policies within the area of expertise/knowledge as directed.
Effectively communicates objectives and findings to the organization, and develops plans for program implementation. Determines necessary resources required and develops goals and metrics for function.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Bachelor?s degree in technical field, or suitable prior work experience; MBA desirable.
Overall 10+ years of experience.
5+ years working experience with multi-vendor security software solutions and interfacing with partners and/or customers in a technical and business capacity.
Strong leadership skills and ability to direct cross-functional teams.
Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in providing strategic contribution to business results.
Must be experienced working with executives and presenting strategy.
Ability to travel to represent the company worldwide approximately 25% of the time.
