JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Description
Are you results-oriented, creative and fearless? Put your wide-ranging B2B marketing skills to work at NewsGator ? a leading provider of enterprise social software. We?re in a growing and exciting market, and we?re looking for a driven marketing professional to help us grow through the expansion of our demand generation efforts. This position will report to the Director, Global Field Marketing and will be joining a high energy, fast growing team to execute and track integrated marketing programs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilites:
The Sr. Marketing Manager, Demand Generation will be responsible for executing, tracking, and reporting on a variety of demand generation activities targeting medium and large enterprise companies, with a focus on Microsoft SharePoint customers. This includes integrated program conceptualization, nurturing efforts, management of the creative process, campaign execution, and success measured by closed-loop sales and marketing metrics.
Execute against quarterly forecasts for leads and pipeline contribution
Manage the creation, execution, and reporting of integrated marketing campaigns that fill the pipeline and mature existing opportunities
Analyze campaign outcomes, draw insights and make recommendations for continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where there are high performance expectations. Requirements for this role include:
Demonstrated prior success in B2B software marketing targeting medium and large enterprises, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem
Strong experience with Marketo campaign automation
Proven track record of exceeding objectives, revenue goals, and personal job commitments
Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve your departmental objectives
Must be a ?roll-up-the-sleeves, do what it takes to get the job done,? individual
Energetic, self-starter who also demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities
Superb interpersonal skills and proven ability to foster a positive team-oriented working environment
Strong and polished business acumen
Solid understanding of marketing and sales processes within an enterprise software marketplace
Success working for an early- or growth-stage company
Knowledge of and experience with social networking, portals, knowledge management, enterprise content management, and/or search solutions
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
Creative skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
Ability to operate effectively across geographic boundaries, virtual teams, and multiple departments
College degree required, MBA degree preferred
Ability to travel as needed for events, meetings, etc. (10-20%)
