Job DetailsPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for research and development of advanced algorithms and techniques in one of these areas:
formal verification
power optimization using advanced formal techniques
architectural power planning
physical implementation and 3D IC design automation and architecture exploration
Integrate new technologies to existing product for efficient and improved analysis
Capture user requirements and write detailed specification for implementation
Provide technical direction and overall usability & use-model by gathering customer requirements and work closely with engineering in India and France, marketing and other groups to define, architect and guide development of these products
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. in EE/CE/CS and 7+ years of work experience in developing advanced algorithms
Specialization in one or more of the following areas: formal verification , power optimization using advanced formal techniques , architectural power planning, physical implementation and 3D IC design automation and architecture exploration
Knowledge and experience with any of the following technologies: SAT, BDDs, ATPG, Model Checking, Bounded Model Checking, Equivalency Checking, Timing Analysis, Simulation, Optimization, Synthesis
In-depth knowledge and experience in C/C++ programming, data structures and algorithm complexity analysis
Excellent software engineering skills, very hands on with development tools such as debuggers, purify etc.
Able to deliver projects in a timely manner with high quality and take ownership for all deliverables
Very Familiar with Verilog/VHDL, Verification and Synthesis tools and methodology
Able to learn new technologies and integrate them in to existing products
Script languages familiarity such as Perl and Tcl/Tk a plus
Excellent technical interpretation skills
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Able to work well with a remote development team
