Sr. Network Engineer Announce Media
DescriptionResponsibilities for our Sr. Network Engineer shall be to design, install, administer, and optimize production and internal network components to achieve high performance and availability. This particular role of network engineer will also participate in cross-functional duties and projects including areas such as on-call rotations, server builds (Linux and non-Linux), monitoring, and other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a multi-homed web environment at a Top 25 Internet site, or similarly sized network.
Network Engineer Responsibilities:
Design, support and maintain production network including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and monitoring systems.
Assist the Data Center Manager with various Data Center design and upkeep tasks
Manage relationships with hardware vendors and ISPs
Participate in on-call rotation and solve production issues
Analyze resource utilization and anticipate growth needs
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and competing priorities
Required Skills and Proficiencies:
TCP/IP, Ethernet, BGP, IPSec, Switching and Routing
Juniper Network Equipment (JunOS/Netscreen)
Efficient Firewall Policy Management
F5 LTM and GTM
SNMP
DNS
Traffic Capture and Analysis
