The senior online Marketing Manager is a highly visible role within DNN, and is critical to revenue generation. Utilizing a variety of online strategies and tactics, the senior online marketing manager will deliver the volume of top-of-funnel leads and MQLS necessary to achieve quarterly bookings targets. He/she will own the complete program lifecycle, from plan to execution to measurement to optimization, and utilize Marketo, Google Analytics, salesforce.com, and other technologies to meet objectives.
Oversee all aspects of lead nurturing, lead scoring, funnel management and optimization.
Leverage Marketo to develop effective lead nurturing programs to accelerate lead-to-MQL conversion.
Collaborate with sales to define effective lead scoring criteria, lead handoff protocols and SLAs for lead follow up.
Implement best practices to optimize funnel velocity and conversion rates.
Create models to aid in planning and forecasting lead generation through to revenue.
Manage all forms of online lead generation programs: PPC, display and retargeting, sponsored email, content syndication, and more. Drive keyword selection, ad creative, landing pages, offer descriptions, publications, targeting criteria, budget, etc.
Align programs with overall marketing and content strategy.
Analyze channel and campaign performance for improvements and make data-driven decisions on budget allocation.
Use Marketo to create emails, landing pages and forms that apply industry best practices for increasing conversion, and that are correctly connected to salesforce, Google Analytics, and other systems.
Direct graphic designers on creation of display ads, email and landing page templates.
Source and manage outside vendors as needed to fulfill objectives.
Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications, or related field of study.
3-5 years of experience and a proven track record in managing online marketing / demand generation for a B2B software company.
Must demonstrate hands-on proficiency in Marketo, Google Analytics, salesforce.com and other systems.
Experience with PPC platforms, concepts, and best practices (primarily Adwords, LinkedIn, Twitter).
Must demonstrate sound understanding of lead scoring, lead nurture, and funnel management concepts, and apply them to program implementation.
Ability to capture and analyze key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions.
Understanding of how to apply conversion rate optimization best practices and techniques to improve the performance of ads, email, landing pages, forms, etc.
Superior writing and copyediting skills.
