Sr. Oracle DeveloperThe Developer should be self-motivated and have the ability to make use of new technology materialized in framework. This position requires extreme hands-on work.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform technical role in requirements gathering, systems analysis, design, development, configuration, implementation, and continued upgrade, enhancement and support for Oracle Financials AR, GL, AP, and FA;
Create Oracle reports to retrieve data based on business requirements;
Involved in analysis, development and testing for Oracle Financials;
Define and manage interfaces from/to Oracle;
Identify and implement system process improvements;
Provide day-day support and security;
Define and write some PL, SQL and SQL Loader Scripts;
Prepare user guides and procedure documentation;
Work closely with the end users in Finance and Accounting to implement leading edge financial solutions;
Develop and maintain functional specifications for custom reports and processes utilizing Oracle and GL/Report Wand;
Work with Oracle on Demand to track and expedite Service Requests and assist with the planning and testing of updates and patches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or related degree;
10+ years of experience with Oracle Financials including Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Asset modules and Oracle PL;
Functional expertise includes requirements gathering, gap analysis, application design, configuration, CRPs, module setup, test script generation, UAT, writing training guides, training end users, and production support;
Technical expertise includes Discoverer, XML Publisher, custom concurrent programs, shell scripts, forms and interfaces, Oracle reports, Oracle workflow, data migration using interfaces and APIs, and VBA;
Proficient in Oracle R12;
Proven background in developing interfaces, customizations, reconciliation scripts using PL/SQL, Open Interfaces and API's;
Hands-on experience with PL/SQL, UNIX, BI Publisher, Workflow builder, Open Interfaces, APIs, OA Framework and form personalization;
Experience as a lead developer on at least one large project impacting multiple business units with demonstrated technical leadership for at least 3 project developers;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated experience in presenting details and resolving differences across a variety of developers, analysts and business clients;
Highly proactive and motivated self-starter with roll-up-the?sleeves work ethic;
Ability to learn things quickly, multi-tasking, and managing interruptions.
