Responsible for all US and Canadian semi-monthly payroll processing utilizing ADP.
Responsible for all US and Canadian payroll accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Provide analysis on key balance sheet accounts to the accounting team with month over month explanations.
Responsible for reporting stock transactions through ADP.
Register the company for State/Local payroll taxes as needed. Add the states/localities into the ADP system.
Add new earnings/deduction codes into system, with mapping to the GL. Responsible for maintaining the GL interface.
Work with cross-functional organizations like HR to streamline the payroll changes and weekly information to improve payroll processing and reduce errors.
Manage 401K Audits, Workers compensation audits and any state notices.
Implement SOX controls and will work with Global Payroll Manager on quarterly reviews of the payroll process.
Support quarter and annual audits.
Assist with company-wide projects that directly or indirectly impact payroll.
5+ years of recent payroll processing experience.
Experience with web-based version of ADP a must.
Experience with stock transactions a must.
Experience with ADP Time & Attendance a must.
Experience with Canadian payroll processing a plus.
APA Certifications a plus.
