Responsibilities:PCB design of indoor and outdoor communication equipment that may require various technologies: RF, high-speed digital, controlled impedance, differential pair, and high pin count BGAs, etc.
Will work very closely with hardware engineers to successfully finish PCB design on schedule.
Schematic net-list preparation and verification with PCB design.
Prepare Gerber files, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and all other documentation preparation as required.
Run design ECO changes and update design databases and documentation.
Assist in the creation of new part decals for PADS layout and 3D inventor libraries.
Required Technical/Performance Skills:
Software: Mentor PADS layout and CAM350 is essential.
Education and Experience Requirements:
10+ years hands-on PCB design experience using Mentor PADS layout to design high-speed digital and RF boards.
Must have extensive expertise with HDI technology, multi-BGA, blind and buried via, high-speed signal, differential pair routing, rigid-flex PCB design and use of auto-routers.
Experience in use of OrCAD Capture, Cadence PADS Editor, Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor experience is a plus.
