Telmar is seeking a Sr. Planner for our Extended Life Group in our Plano, TX facility. This position will manage fulfillment of customer orders, supplier forecasts, inventory levels and internal builds. This position will also be responsible for managing our VAD/VAR relationships with other OEMS, providing sales with quotes and product availability, and sourcing products to support sales and installation projects.

The Sr. Planner will be responsible for working with internal customers to determine requirements for production forecast. Assesses impact and supports changes to forecast adjustments. Will be the primary interface with key suppliers. Attends production meetings with key suppliers and provides status on deliveries and production issues. Performs research and recommends solutions to complex inventory issues. MOQ validation and lifetime buy analysis. Reviews and ensures proper disposition of ECO activities with key suppliers. Manages planning of new product introductions, Bill of Material analysis and Make/Buy studies. Excess & PPV cost analysis. Manages builds of internal assemblies and software kits. VAD/VAR order Management.

Telmar needs a problem solving, ambitious team player with accomplished internal and external customer service skills. Have the ability to proactively identify problems and recommend solutions. At least five years Production and Planning experience. The successful candidate must have good written and verbal communication, accompanied by strong organizational and analytical skills. The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and be able to work independently as well. Strong computer skills, proficient with MS applications are required and knowledge of an ERP system (Oracle) preferred. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience required.
