Sr. Platform Engineer Metamarkets

Type: Full TimeMin. Experience: Mid LevelAs Metamarkets continues to scale up its service and platform offerings, we are looking for help in this effort. You will be part of our backend team, which is a fluid set of engineering resources that help out on all aspects of our backend as needed. This includes working on our data ingestion systems, the Druid, distributed data store and platform APIs.
Your area of focus will be defining, implementing and maintaining public and private APIs as part of our service-oriented platform. We are looking for an individual with knowledge and expertise around API development and management, as well as strong CS fundamentals.
This position will provide a significant amount of exposure to the technologies we use to build our backend, such as Hadoop, Pig, Scala, and Node.js. Previous experience with these is a plus.
All applicants must be able to work on site.
