Sr. Pre Sales Solution Consultant Zyme Solutions

Summary
The solution consultant will be involved in pre-sales and post-sales solution implementation activities, promoting Zyme?s products and services and acting as a solution evangelist. The position will require extensive customer contact at operational and senior management levels; and coordination with internal Zyme teams, especially solutions consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Day to day activities in this role include:
Pre Sales Activities
Provide subject matter expertise in a pre and post sales capacity for prospects, and existing clients on all Zyme?s solutions and their associated system integration
Respond to RFI/RFPs and manage local implementation of trials
Participate in sales calls with sales management and meetings with prospects
Prepare and give solution demonstrations
Prepare and give technology and solution architecture presentations
Deliver feedback to product development/management based on prospect or customer interaction, product issues, field deployments and generally observed market trends
Take ownership of continuous improvement and refinement of pre / post-sales processes and best practice strategies
Solution Implementation
Manage the post sales transition to the service setup team. Ensure that the service setup team understands scope, project plan, and key stakeholders
Act in an advisory/QA role with service setup team to ensure client requirements are translated correctly from sales cycle to delivery
Drive standardization in the set-up of new and existing services
Customer Engagements
Manage customer coverage improvement programs
Manage paid proof of concepts or trials
Execute client value assessments
North America focus, medium to large hi-tech clients
Based in San Francisco bay area, CA

Great communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter and go-getter
Minimum 4 years previous experience in prospect/customer-facing roles involving professional services and/or pre or post sales to vendors
Experience of delivering SAAS solutions
Domain knowledge in the areas of supply chain or indirect sales channel is a plus
