We are hiring a Senior Print Designer to join our growing Creative Department. We are looking for someone who has the ability to design for print and some packaging. The emphasis for the position will be designing for print ads, catalogs, direct mail inserts and packaging. You must have experience taking a new set of brand guidelines and building out the look and feel for all print channels. The ideal candidate will possess a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to design for print, with a strong design aesthetic that matches the Tiny Prints brand. This is a full-time position based in Sunnyvale, California.If you:
Are an amazing designer?you love pixels and paper!
Love typography?you try to impress your friends by identifying fonts and always have to point out bad kerning and leading
Use Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign religiously?even more than Facebook and Twitter
Are able to conceptualize a problem to find the best and most appropriate solution
Understand and are able to adapt to different design trends when needed

Print design experience
Packaging design experience
Photography experience
Start-up and e-commerce experience
Branding experience

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Designing for new brands and services
Designing print components, such as ads, catalogs and inserts for tinyprints.com, weddingpaperdivas.com and treat.com
Developing ideas and concepts for marketing initiatives
Any other duties assigned
The characteristics we are looking for are:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail
Organized and meticulous
Able to take a new set of branding guidelines and tools and build them out into web pages, emails, banner ads, etc.
Willing to go the extra mile to do whatever it takes to meet deadlines
Able to work independently with little to no direction while multi-tasking, handling various on-going projects at once and still remaining extremely productive and timely
Taking great pride and ownership in one's designs
Great attitude and fun personality
A team player
Qualifications and desired skills:
7+ years work experience as a Designer (in-house corporate designer or agency designer)
Experience designing for print ads, catalogs and brand campaigns with a portfolio that can show off your skills
Experience designing for web is a plus
Photo retouching skills a must
4 year degree in art/graphic design or related field
Expert using Adobe products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience, including 401(k), bonus plan, medical, dental and vision insurance plus other benefits.
