We are searching for an experienced Sr. Process Development Engineer to support the manufacturing group.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
? Designs and modifies products and fabrication procedures to improve the efficiency and quality of product through customer feedback and field testing.
? Plans and fabricates test apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems.
? Develops product/fixture/process concepts, presents models and drawings, gets feedback and iterates designs to meet manufacturing needs.
? Designs individual components and creates assemblies using CAD/CAE tools.
? Tests and modifies prototypes and gets feedback through design reviews. Use of basic machine shop tools is preferred.
? Interacts with vendors for troubleshooting, design improvement, and productivity improvement for outsourcing parts and processes.
? Conduct process qualification and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, and TMV) activities.
Qualifications:
? Minimum work experience required/preferred:
o Three to five years of related experience.
? Minimum education & training required/preferred:
o Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university. MSME preferred.
