The team at TripIt, the Webby award-winning travel service from Concur, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNQR), is about to embark on a brand new adventure? building a new consumer app! Concur is the leading provider of travel and expense management solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Product Manager to own and advance a product from its infancy.
Reporting to the Director of Product, This Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for the logic and functionality that make up TripIt?s back-end magic. You will be responsible for pushing the boundaries of ?automagical.?
TripIt drags traveling kicking and screaming into the 21st century. TripIt turns all your flight, hotel and rental car confirmation emails just by hitting forward. Then your master itinerary can be accessed from anywhere ? your computer, laptop or phone. And that?s just the start ? we can help you share plans with friends, find you a refund, watch your point balances, and alert you when your flights change. Position Requirements
Key job requirements:
Prioritization. Lots of good opportunities. Size them up. Make tough choices. Drive the roadmap.
Market research. Know your customer. Have a bead on the competition.
Alignment. Share, engage with marketing, engineering, support, and others across the company. Might require travel to get there (0-25%).
Leadership. Work with cross-functional teams. Champion the project and truly own it.
Forecast & monitor. Develop goal metrics and a plan to get there. And watch like a hawk.
Skills and experience you?ll need:
You?ve done it before. Consumer-driven web/mobile product management experience of 7+ years.
You?ve got analytic chops. Opportunity assessments, and performance monitoring.
You can roll up your sleeves. Detailed use cases? You?ve written those, and secretly enjoy it actually.
You work well with others. Cross-functional leadership, communication, collaboration. Check.
You know enough to be dangerous. Not scared by words like asynchronous or graph database.
You can pass a background check. We keep it clean.
