Reporting to Livescribe?s Director of Product Management, the Sr PM will help define and advance the company?s mobile software and cloud services initiatives.We are seeking an individual who is goal-oriented, mobile technology savvy, and has a passion for great products. This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of Livescribe?s mobile software and services strategy and roadmap, collaboration across functional and product teams, and participation in the concept, development, launch and sustaining phases of the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a background in hardware consumer electronics, cloud services, iOS / Android mobile applications, excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, be highly organized, manage internal and external team communications, be able to prioritize tasks, and maximize internal resources. S/he needs to have the ability to keep up to date on new and competitive technologies and must have a demonstrated track record of defining requirements and driving these across diverse organizations.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Ongoing development of the cloud / web services product vision and strategy with a focus on internal and external systems addressing core user needs as well as company needs.
? iOS / Android mobile application development champion
? Drive User Interface and User Experience design for software products
? Development and execution of tactical plans, with the ability to translate broad strategic objectives into specific tactical plans.
? Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, technical and design teams to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, translate into PRDs and drive projects to completion.
? Develop a functional understanding of the key technological and architectural components of Livescribe?s web services platform.
? Identify opportunities for improvement, and incorporate new capabilities on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
? 5-10 years of experience in product management
? Demonstrated experience in working with complex technologies and defining requirements for internal and external services
? Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers, team members, and customers
? Ability to create clickable UI/UX mockups and wireframes for use by the engineering development teams
? A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
? Working knowledge of mobile technologies, products and tools
? Self-driven with a good sense of humor
? BA/BS degree in a technical field; MBA preferred
