Sr. Product Manager AtTask
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED
AtTask has fast become the leading SaaS project and work management software vendor and our growth is through the roof. We help individuals and project managers do their work more efficiently, manage projects more effectively, and collaborate with their teams more productively. That?s because we aren?t building our software the same as other competitors in the project and portfolio management (PPM) space. We focus on what our users really need and want to do their work better, through flexibility, adaptability, and social collaboration. We are succeeding where others are not because we are building our solutions for real people doing real work, not theoretical concepts like many software vendors. Users of our software around the world are experiencing a transformation in the way in which they plan, manage, and deliver on their work.
Are you a customer rock-star? You are the ultimate champion for the end-users, not a proxy. You understand contextual inquiries and how to discover what they need (even if they don?t). And you love it. You love seeing customers using your product.
Have you liked working with user experience teams before? User experience is not just a buzzword here at AtTask, but a full team focused on interaction design that works side-by-side with product management in testing, validating, and defining our product
Do you like to think about the details before the details bite your users in the rear? Defining a product is not just about the idea, but ensuring that every aspect works the right way across every situation is critical to a successful user experience.
Do you speak geek? You?ll need to work with engineering sprint teams and make decisions on the fly about technical trade-offs and impacts
Do you laugh at others who think scrum is a rugby term? Not because they like rugby, but because you have spent time in Agile development and understand how to build software in this way
Are you good at being the go-to-expert? You embrace the need to learn more than everybody else, and understand how to deliver expertise to different audiences in different ways. For you collaboration and questions are not an interruption of your work.
Can you see the future? Well kinda. You understand enterprise and consumer software. You get social, collaboration, mobile, consumerization of IT and other mega-trends. You like to read about the new stuff coming, and can see how it can help (or hurt) your product and customers
Are you passionate and can evangelize your product? You must be able to present in front of audiences large and small in a way that displays your passion - without compromising your expertise - for the value your product can deliver to customers
Do you like doing a lot of different things? You are great at managing lots of projects, and activities and not only are you good at juggling lots of things, but you thrive on the challenge of creating high quality deliverables in this environment
This is the ultimate role. If the above is you, then we want and need you. Even if you currently in a role that you ?like? or is ?good enough? that is ?safe? you need to come talk to us to discover in this opportunity that you will love.
Minimum qualifications:
