The Position
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for product management for FireEye?s rapidly expanding product portfolio. As a core member of the Marketing and Product Management team, the Senior Product Manager will help define the next generation of threat protection products that reshapes the overall security industry. They will be customer-focused and bridge the key elements of customer needs with technological innovation to create a world-class roadmap and products. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing and Sales. The position reports to the Director of Product Management.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have 7-10 years of high technology product management experience. Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Deep technical acumen and experience with enterprise security products is critical. Candidates with high energy, a responsive attitude, and a desire for success will be given preference.
Required Skills and Attributes
Bachelor?s degree in a technical field is required, MBA highly desirable
Must have several years of security products expertise, ideally network security
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to conceive and initiate new ideas
Ability to engage completely with the technical and sales communities with great communication and credibility
Talented at providing vision, guidance, and structure to product management
Strong creative energy
Flexible and open to new ideas
Self motivated, driven and passionate about winning
