Responsibilities
As a Sr. Product Manager with BitTorrent, you?ll partner with some of the industry?s most talented designers and engineers to discover and build successful products that leverage BitTorrent technology.
Specific responsibilities include:
Managing end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and strategy to delivery and optimization
Engaging with your product team and provide the vision and direction needed to build something real
Being the expert on the market and the customer you will serve (includes understanding the competitive landscape and the ability to clearly articulate why your product can win there)
Ensuring your product team has a deep understanding of the target market and customer
Establishing a clear path for how your product(s) will earn revenue and achieve profitability
Preferred Experience
Ideal candidates will posses a strong combination of the following experience:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Business or related (MBA a plus)
5+ years consumer software/web product management experience
Experience developing new products (or significant new features) aimed at winning new users
Track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic, company culture
Experience working with Agile development teams and methodologies
Must have ability to lead a product forward while taking into account the needs of multiple constituents
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and ability to work well in a team environment
Familiar with BitTorrent technologies and ecosystem
