The Sr. Product Manager of Next-Gen Solutions is responsible for new areas of exploration, product solutions, and concept delivery. Including complete a detailed market analysis, ideation, development, launch, and continued development of a portfolio of products and features. The Sr. Product Manager will be required to regularly interact with publishers, agencies, and advertisers, to screen product solutions and determine level of effort needed to bring concepts to market. This person will also be working with higher-level management to define new market opportunities, product strategies, and competitive solutions. The Sr. Product Manager will own the success of next generation products and guide new products from conception to launch, while working with numerous cross-functional teams. It is the responsibility of this individual to bridge technical and business worlds and ensure the product created will generate profitable revenue streams.
Own your product portfolio. Collect feedback from clients and then work with a cross-functional team to develop and launch new products and features
Continuously expand the breadth and depth of existing capabilities and steer your products through all aspects of the Product Life Cycle
Build and manage a product roadmap to support corporate goals and strategies
Create preliminary design concepts and work with engineering to implement and test concepts
Utilize all product touch points to measure and deliver new product experiences
Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, track product development, and work with internal teams to develop product launch plans
Develop the product strategy, positioning and all elements related to the business case
In addition to developing clear and detailed PRDs, you will work with our user experience team to build products that are elegant and will generate demand for our sales team
Develop positioning for new product launches and communicate it internally and to customers in close collaboration with corporate and product marketing
Provide a clear understanding of the competitive landscape and how Undertone?s products compete against other similar products in the marketplace
Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in a Product Management role
Minimum of a BA/BS in Computer Science, business, or a related technical field, MBA, M.S. or Ph.D preferred
Proven experience of bringing high-level concepts to market
Minimum of 2 years working in the Television or Connected Television space
Ability to work independently and drive appropriate decisions /process to accomplish goals
Passion and vision
Deep knowledge of the product development life-cycle and an ability to describe in detail the workflow between product management, design, engineering, and test
Experience working with customers and deriving product priorities and managing multiple product backlogs and facilitate prioritization discussions with a diverse group of stakeholders
Strong knowledge of the online advertising industry
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively cross teams and simplify a story for executive management
Experience working with partners to bring products/solutions to market
Knowledge of online video industry and/or online advertising is a significant plus
