Sr. Product Manager Carnegie Learning
Primary liaison between the Development team and the Sales/Marketing teams.
Drive product communications to ensure that information on new products as well as updates to existing products are shared in a timely and thorough manner.
Understand customer needs, articulate how we can meet those needs, and define solutions for those needs
Create market requirements documents utilizing primary and secondary research.
Work with Marketing and Sales leadership to define long-term product roadmap and improve internal product management processes.
Work with Marketing and Sales Leadership to develop and execute product launch plans and monitor results.
Develop a strategy for those states that are in an adoption cycle; understand requirements, facilitate meetings with the internal departments that will have a role, communicate timelines and drive the team to meet them.
Manage product correlations to national and state content and process standards (Common Core State Standards and isolated State Standards).
Create template sales presentations and product demo scripts.
Mange the development of white papers and translate technical documents into customer-facing language.
Document and communicate competitive threats and related industry news.
Facilitate sales training on new products and product updates.
Assist the Marketing team with the development of collateral and general messaging.
Work with Business and Marketing teams to define pricing strategy and validate that our strategy will have a competitive position in the marketplace.
Work directly with the Order Management team on product forecasting and inventory needs to ensure client needs will be met.
Attend conferences, trade show and internal Sales/Marketing meetings.
Work with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to determine Product Packaging Strategy
5+ years? experience in a product marketing role focusing on software
Knowledgeable with the K-12 markets, particularly with technology strategy.
Customer service oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
30-50% Travel Required.
