About the Opportunity
The role of product management is a strategic and critical function at Andera whereby we are at the heart of the organization's innovation engine and act as entrepreneurs that wear many hats to deliver value to our clients. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing team as we seek to continue to disrupt the traditional ways that financial institutions approach customer acquisition in a multi-device/multi-channel environment.
About the Responsibilities
Define, maintain and evolve the roadmap for the integration of the oFlows product with financial institution core and loan servicing systems.
Develop and evolve the product vision and approach for Andera's core interface middleware in conjunction with system architects and engineers.
Act as the expert on how core systems are used in banks and credit unions and are able to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of different core systems and Andera's integration with these systems.
Conduct and maintain a detailed competitive matrix of core systems integrations capabilities
Maintain business relationships with core system vendors.
Define and create product requirements for the engineering team to develop new features that involve core integrations and act as the product owner.
Works with core vendors and Engineering to plan and prioritize major enhancements
You are passionate about the role of technology in facilitating business processes and are constantly evolving your understanding/knowledge of emerging technologies in addition to developments within the financial services industry.
You believe in the ancient art of getting things done and done well with the goal of going above and beyond consistently.
You are familiar with pragmatic marketing framework and Lean Startup concepts and actually enjoy it.
You will have 5 years of experience working within the banking software industry, preferably with some background in engineering.
You will also have at least 4 years of experience in a product management capacity, specifically working with software development kits (SDK) or application programming interfaces (API).
Practitioner level understanding of how core systems work - has directly used a banking core system or worked in bank IT implementing a major project involving a core system
-A big plus if you have experience?
-working with some of the core vendors including: Open Solutions, Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry, etc.
-with Fintech vendors: Digital Insight/IFS, ORCC, mFoundry
-prior experience in Consulting (must have worked on banking systems projects): Accenture, Sapient, IBM
