Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mobile Management Portfolio
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Good Technology, you will be responsible for driving the market positioning, messaging, and launches for the company?s mobile management portfolio.
You will be responsible for representing the voice of the customer within product management and corporate marketing through the creation and development of buyer, user and influencer personas. You will use these personas to develop and drive the value propositions for the company?s products and solutions and gain insights that enable you to drive your product line go-to-market strategy and evangelize your GTM strategy to gain alignment across functional groups.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a platform of compelling messaging, tools and collateral that will enable the sales and marketing organization to achieve its lead generation, partner recruitment & development, and customer acquisition & retention goals.
The Senior Product Marketing Manager works closely with Product Management and Corporate Marketing to ensure the voice of the customer is reflected in the product roadmap, branding and communications programs.
Imagination, vision, attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into compelling customer benefits are crucial. This position reports to the Senior Director, Enterprise Mobility Platform.
Positioning ? From product conception to completion, identify and develop positioning that uniquely differentiates the company?s product & solution portfolio
Go-to-Market Strategy ? develop and own a living Go To Market strategy that identifies target personas, routes to market, messaging, required assets, and functional marketing plans (e.g., analyst, press, sales, channel, international, etc.), as well as product goals and metrics for success
Sales and marketing tools ? Implement and drive the sustained creation of compelling sales tools including demonstrations, collateral and messaging that effectively communicates the value proposition of all our products
Sales Enablement ? Own the training and enablement of the direct sales team and channel partners for the launches of new products and releases
Product Launches ? lead product/solution Launch Team through the internal product lifecycle to a coordinated and impactful external launch, working with Product Management, AR/PR, Corporate Marketing, Sales and Channel teams, etc.
Communications ? Work with the sales and marketing teams to broadcast our message to the market, across the organization, and our partner community
Market intelligence ? Be the expert on decision-maker personas, how they decide and their decision-making criteria; the experts on our competition and how to beat them; ongoing training for sales and partners
Technical Partnerships ? Liaise with our strategic technical partners to maintain and promote effective joint messaging to facilitate mutual sales enablement around target markets
Industry leadership ? Ensure representation for the company at industry events, conferences trade shows, webinars, and provide spokespeople for analyst and press coverage.
Win/Loss analysis ? Drive the collation of up-to-date sales data to inform product management, sales and marketing plans
10+ years? experience in product marketing, sales and/or sales engineering for technology products
Bachelor's degree is required. MBA a plus
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with SFDC
Track record in launching high-technology products
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling language
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Proven track record of strong leadership skills including: forming a vision, energizing teams to deliver breakthrough results and executing plans with excellence
Strong interpersonal and team skills and the ability to interact with customers, partners and foster cross-functional teamwork among sales, marketing, and product teams
Willing and able to travel, occasionally internationally
