Sr. Product Marketing Manager Mindjet

Mindjet is seeking an energetic storyteller (marketer) who?s passionate about our software and is capable of developing the content and programs to drive demand, engagement and adoption. This is an outbound marketing role, and key responsibilities include developing customer-facing messaging, creating content (including presentations, demos, website content, white papers, and video scripts), coordinating marketing projects, and supporting sales with training, sales tools, and promotions.
A strong candidate will have experience in software product marketing, as well as outstanding written and oral communication skills. SaaS marketing experience is particularly relevant. The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, and the ability to understand and describe how customers use Mindjet software, is crucial. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in our customers, their needs, and how Mindjet can help them address those needs.
Key responsibilities:
? Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our software in the market
? Gain familiarity with Mindjet markets, competitors, and the customers we are targeting
? Understand customer environments and create content, including presentations, website content, demos, video scripts and whitepapers to illustrate Mindjet benefits for key use cases, by department and industry
? Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support Mindjet selling processes
? Design and conduct primary research and analyze secondary research.
? Collaborate with global demand generation teams to develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for Mindjet software
? Manage cross-functional launch of new products and a variety of product marketing projects; collaborate with marketing teams in Europe and Asia-Pacific, as well as the Americas.
Requirements:
? 5+ years software product marketing experience ? SaaS experience a plus
? BA/BS required, MBA a plus
? Demonstrated track record creating and executing marketing programs.
? Proven ability to add value to the sales process through marketing, sales tools, training and presentations.
? Excellent communication skills: a proven ability to convey complex ideas simply and clearly in written, presentation and spoken formats
? Self-directed; requires minimal supervision on work projects.
? Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills
? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
