The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple software implementation and service projects. The Sr. Project Manager works with clients and Caradigm employees to plan and execute projects on schedule, within budget and with high customer satisfaction. This includes but not limited to project plan, communication plan, budget and resource scheduling, readiness planning, Go Live activities and Transition to support. The incumbent will lead at least 2 HIE implementation projects within a major Caradigm account, and work with Support to define processes for product that is already in production. Due to the scope and level of client interaction this role is being posted as a Sr. Project Manager. In addition to client work, the Sr. Project Manager will support the creation of Statement of Works (SOW) by assisting in developing a detailed project plan, resource scheduling and budget. Also help with internal initiatives, assist in staffing efforts, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities:
? Facilitate and track day-to- day activities required to ensure the projects are completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals, departmental policies, and/or the standard terms and conditions of the contract
? Conduct remote implementation reviews and publish project status
? Work collaboratively with the implementation teams on alternate methods of solving needs or problems
? Recommend and present specific solutions to internal teams and/or to the customer
? Manage client expectations of product and services and manage customer satisfaction and customer quality requirements and issues
? Maintain account in system of record, including all project documentation, milestone dates, project contacts, and meeting notes/actions and other pertinent information
? Maintain proficient level of knowledge for specified HIE software modules
? Adopt a proactive approach to identify risks to project success and create and maintain a project risk log; develop effective action plans for resolution as early as possible
? Participate in cross-functional initiatives and Six Sigma projects to improve implementation methodology and/or product efficiency
Qualifications/Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree in a related discipline or equivalent business experience in related field.
? Health IT Experience, prefer HIE experience
? Minimum of 10+ years? experience of formal Service experience working with external customer facing business setting overseeing complex technical projects
? PMP certification (or equivalent) is required
? Exceptional project management skill, with demonstrated ability to drive complex, technical projects to success, working through technical, business and people challenges
? Demonstrated experience managing geographically dispersed teams to achieve the required project outcomes
? Proficient in the soft skills necessary to be an effective Sr Project Manager
? Proven leadership and effective decision-making capabilities
? Demonstrated ability to negotiate, deliver tough messages and effectively present alternative solutions
? Strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
? Exceptional interpersonal, and collaboration skills with people at all levels and disciplines (from C-Suite and down)
? Exceptional English language oral /written communication skills
? Ability to travel to customer sites averaging 25% of the time
