Sr. Project Manager SpecificMedia

Position Summary:

Manage to completion internet software development projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following but other duties may be assigned.

Perform project management activities to ensure quality execution in the delivery of development projects.
Establish clear communication with stakeholders to enable proactive decisions and actions throughout the development life cycle.
Manage project and release schedule while ensuring features and functionality are delivered with quality.
Plan releases, iterations or sprints and work with cross-functional team of engineering, product and QA teams located in southern California and the UK to secure estimated delivery dates.
Track project deliverables using ticketing system or appropriate tools, understand dependencies, and report progress to stakeholders, including Product and Technology leadership.
Help enhance company project management approach. Effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards.
Perform other duties as instructed.

Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Experience/knowledge in software development, content development/electronic publishing and a good understanding of software and web development technologies.
Excellent planning and organizing, critical thinking and problem solving and written communication skills. Ability to lead and influence. Team work.
3 years experience and qualification in project management techniques and tools.
2 years in the online advertising industry.
BA/BS required. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline preferred.
