Jive Software is looking for a seasoned, dynamic Senior Project Manager/Business Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This role will be responsible for leading teams of consultants to implement Jive in some of the world?s most iconic companies. Expectations for a Top Candidate in this role:
Strong Business Acumen and Business Analysis:
Lead clients through a process to discover, understand, and document business requirements.
Develops the implementation roadmap and tracks the benefits gained to demonstrate ongoing business value.
Seasoned Project Management:
Lead the implementation of Jive Software, managing multiple projects with a range of complexity and coordination of resources across projects.
Proven results estimating functional requirements, developing budgets, creating project plans for delivery teams. Leverages various project management techniques, tools to ensure teams are delivering on time, within scope and budget.
Key resource for managing escalations, driving issues to resolution, and mitigating risks to ensure successful delivery while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Understand and manage the customer relationship
Manages change with multiple stakeholders, steps and deliverables.
Exceptional Customer Interaction and Communication:
Interact directly with clients to understand their specific needs, make appropriate recommendations and provide status updates.
Execute stakeholder management
Bachelors degree and/or MBA
6+ years experience in project management and/or consulting with Enterprise SaaS, Community Management/Social preferred
Strong business background with a proven track record of delivering pragmatic value in a very compressed timeframe
Proven experience with common SDLC methodologies. Ability to quickly grasp customer requirements and propose creative solutions. A strong background in understanding and documenting business requirements and functional specifications is a must.
Direct project leadership experience, especially creating task breakdowns, task estimating, team management, and standard project reporting.
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills to all levels within an organization. Demonstrated abilities for clear, honest communication in client interactions.
Customer success focused.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing competing priorities.
Working knowledge of web-based technologies (J2EE, XML, HTML, etc.)
Ability to travel 40-50%
