The Sr. QA Analyst must adapt to changing requirements, processes, and write common reusable test libraries. As a member of an agile development team, this person will contribute to the design of the product from a testability standpoint. They will provide expertise in understanding, developing, and implementing the test strategy for product quality. The right candidate will be an excellent communicator with a passion for product quality that feels confident as part of a highly productive team.Responsibilities
Leads test planning and coordinates with Sprint Teams to determine product acceptance standards
Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) providing leadership and technical direction on product verification
Completes manual and automated front-end user and back-end code-based testing to verify product integration
Monitors the overall testing process to highlight risks and issues for providing follow-up to the stakeholders
Maintain current knowledge of product evolution and test methodologies focusing on automated testing
Creates and maintains test scenarios, test plans, test cases, and requirements matrices for product features
Builds and establishes the strategy for identifying and building test data to validate product quality
Develops test scripts and perform automated and manual testing based on product requirements
Requirements
6+ years of quality assurance or development experience, and implementing enterprise class products
2+ years of collaborating, mentoring and coaching teams using testing methodologies
Thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance and Agile testing practices
Must have leadership and mentoring experience helping others improve their QA competencies
Track record for driving process or tool changes that improved product quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experienced knowledge of XML and Web Services
Skilled in constructing relational database queries
Experienced with testing tools and automation test suites (QTP, Selenium ?etc.)
Some programming knowledge a plus
Knowledgeable in of insurance industry a plus
Experienced with the Agile Development Process
Competent in Testing Methodologies and Best Practices
Knowledgeable with Java technologies highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
