What We?re Looking For:
The Sr. QA Engineer will be responsible for quality assurance tasks associated with our business. This includes our Learning Management System (LMS) and several supporting systems. Duties will include:
Quality Assurance:
Testing releases of new functionality to various systems
Maintaining testing schedules and communicating status of QA testing to upper management
Owning the Quality Assurance of various product offerings, including but not limited to the learning management system, online application and recommendation system, Salesforce suite, and data-bridges Escalating red flags that would prevent releases
Working with the Tech Request Coordinator and developers to clarify bugs and bug fixes
Working with our third party vendors (i.e. Adobe, Kaltura) on bugs and testing after routine maintenance
Testing all new projects that are being implemented
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or at least 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
3+ years of Quality Assurance experience
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively with non-technical audiences
Solid programming abilities in one or more of the following languages: Java, PHP, JavaScript and Perl
Experience with Selenium and Jenkins strongly preferred
Experience with application testing on mobile devices
Understanding of database concepts and data management (RDBMS) and SQL
Experience with automation testing is a plus
