ABOUT THE POSITION
The 247 Service Delivery QA team is responsible for validating and releasing the next-generation products that utilize predictive analytics platform and deliver an intuitive consumer experience. We are highly motivated and passionate, with strong technical backgrounds.
As part of the Service Delivery team, the Sr. QA Engineer is responsible for producing test documents, developing automation scripts, leading testing procedures, and ensuring the success of deployments of 247 Px solutions to customers and assuring customer satisfaction and business success.
The Senior QA Engineer will be required to learn new technologies and be an effective QA Engineer in new application domains in a short time.
This role demands hands-on testing, methodical problem solving, great verbal and written communication skills, and teamwork. Previous experience building test automation framework from scratch will be essential for this role.
Create and update test plans, system, integration and functional test cases.
Perform black and grey box testing for IVR and Multi-Modal Applications.
Document bugs and verify bug fixes.
Develop and maintain QA documentation and test cases to plan and execute tests for dynamically coming product changes.
Work in Agile cross-functional environment with development and design engineers to achieve application correctness and usability.
Identify variations from expected results and coordinate research/resolution of issues with development and project management teams
Drive or contribute to continuous improvement within the QA team, including providing unique contributions and process improvements
Mentor, train, and support junior team members
Keep management informed of testing project status and raise issues as necessary
Local to Richmond, Virginia
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study.
5+ years of experience in SQA including successful enterprise-grade packaged software releases
Experience with developing test automation for GUI and non-GUI applications and testing one or more server-side web technologies
Experience working in Agile environment with offshore teams
Experience testing IVR applications in financial domain
Strong Experience with SQL, XML and Shell scripting
Experience with testing IVR and Web applications using SOAP and XML mock data
Experience in using MySQL as a backend database
Experience in requirements collection, creation of system and integration test cases and documentation of test results
Working knowledge for one of the following Perl, Ruby, Java Scripting or Python is a plus
Experience in Object Oriented Programming languages.
Bilingual, English + Spanish.
Project Management certification.
