We are building a world-class engineering team that will revolutionize how video conversations occur on the web. We are looking for a smart and passionate QA Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining the quality of our product and set a new bar for quality. We deal with a lot of interesting algorithmic and systems problems such as distributed caching, scalable-partitioning of system resources, P2P topologies, resource discovery, to name a few. Mix that in with weekly sprints and agile methodology, we need someone who thrives in working on tough technological problems with aggressive milestones.
Responsibilities
Functional test planning and testing of new features
Functional test case maintenance of the regression test scripts
Work with the rest of development and product teams to aid in testing and test planning
Coordinate and join in group testing efforts (we like to eat our own dog food)
Work in a results-oriented group where your input counts
Desired Skills & Experience
BS in CS or equivalent experience
4+ years of hands-on experience and proven background as a member of a QA team
3+ years of significant automation testing experience on large scale applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid understanding of functional and integration test methodologies
Ability to rapidly develop and execute tests
Hands on experience using UI automation frameworks like Selenium and other frameworks like JUnit, JSUnit and Jmeter.
Positive energy and love of the startup environment
Bonus for folks who have experience with Jenkins used for continuous integration
