JOB SUMMARY
This position will support the daily operation of high power LED reliability tests. The individual must be experienced, self-motivated, and "hands-on" to setup, execute, and develop new and existing reliability test processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in the build strategy for Reliability test infrastructure.
• Maintain and Repair Reliability test equipment to minimize down test time.
• Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical & cooling systems for high temperature operation within the Reliability test equipment.
• Setup PM schedules for Reliability Equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of Reliability test procedures for high power LEDs.
• Execute Reliability test builds through many new Reliability test processes.
• Help setup and define new controlled testing processes with Reliability engineer.
• Detailed characterization with statistics of test results.
• Independently design and develop new Reliability Test Equipment for high power LEDs.
• Write clear reports of test results with conclusions.
• Communicate & collaborate test results within the Reliability team & across the company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 5 years reliability test experience with equipment architecture or similar background.
• Maintain large volume of Reliability Test equipment operational.
• Familiar with device inspections processes and other LED process.
• DOE strategy and experience> controlled experiments.
• LED device reliability testing experience is a plus.
• Materials expertise is a plus (e.g. silicone/ phosphor/ ceramics).
• LabView programming capability is a plus.
• High level of dedication and commitment to produce good results.
• Good team work and communication skills.
• Self managed and motivated to complete tasks per schedule.
