Sr. RF Design Engineer Omneon, Inc.

As a member of a development team, will design and test passive and active RF circuits for new products. In cooperation with manufacturing engineer and production test engineer, transfer the design into manufacturing. Document the design throughout the project. BSEE/Physics and 5 plus years of related experience. Demonstrated ability to do hands-on design of active and passive RF circuitry with a track record of design for manufacturability. Proficient in RF measurement techniques and the use of leading edge simulation software tools. Ability to plan and execute project tasks on schedule.
Hybrid Fiber/Coax (HFC) network system setup and testing: the analog video performance measurement such as CTB, CSO, and CNR and digital video/data performance measurement such as BER and MER.
Required Job Skills:
Design and knowledge of LPF, HPF filter, diplex/multiplexr filter, microstrip, strip line, broadband matching, directional coupler, power divider, RF amplifier design using MMIC's, PIN switch/attenuator, Specific knowledge in phase locked loop, frequency conversion and related phase noise, spectral-regrowth performance issues, and the operating of network analyzer, spectrum analyzer,
