POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Sales Operations, this position is a senior position focused on operations business systems and policies. A primary function of this position is leadership responsibility for planning, managing and monitoring Global Sales Territories, and associated Account and Opportunity Ownership, based on established Infor policies. This is administered within SalesForce.com CRM software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ø Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary lead in operationalizing CRM system aspects of Infor sales rules of engagement policies associated with territory, account and opportunity ownership
Ø Work closely with Infor senior management to review and model sales ownership rules of engagement, to ensure impact is measured and considered in decision-making
Ø Interact with all levels of sales management to support and explain the impacts of 'rules of engagement' changes
Ø Remediate and/or recommend resolution to account and opportunity disputes
Ø Assist and/or lead the analysis, configuration and testing of CRM system changes, as well as reports and dashboards
Ø Participate in other analyses as directed by the Senior Director, Global Sales Operations
EDUCATIONAL/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Ø Bachelor's degree in Business and a minimum of 7 years of progressive relevant work experience
Ø Strong analytical skills
Ø Experience working with Tier 1 CRM systems and supporting databases
Ø Advanced written and spoken communication skills, in addition to an ease in communications with senior management individuals
Ø Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Ø Proficiency with Microsoft SQL
Ø Proficiency with extracting data from Salesforce.com
Ø Experience dealing with sales territory and opportunity ownership rules of engagement within a large sales organization
Ø Experience working with 3rd party demographic data vendors and utilizing industry classifications and family hierarchies (D&B, Hoovers, OneSource, HIMMS, etc.)
