Sr. Sales Engineer, CALA Actelis Networks

Summary: The Senior Sales Engineer assists the Global Account team in identifying
and understanding the customer?s technical, application and business
requirements, and is then responsible for designing a technically correct
solution that can be operationally delivered to the customer. The Senior
Sales Engineer will also have limited TAC support responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
? Provide technical solutions as well as pre-sales presentations to perspective customers
? Perform a variety of engineering duties to support and work with large
telecommunications accounts
? Work with Account Executives to identify, qualify and develop opportunities within
accounts
? Provide both strategic and day-to-day technical expertise and support for various
accounts
? Develop strong technical relationships at the highest levels within the account(s)
? Ability to drive Actelis Networks? technical leadership and innovative networking solutions
in strategic opportunities to meet sales and business objectives is a critical aspect of the
role
? Develop technical expertise within the account by delivering leading-edge technical
presentations and training on Actelis Networks? products
? Act as the primary technical support for beta sites
? Become the customer's advocate for all technical issues
? Communicates effectively with the sales team, partners and end user customers at all
levels
? Maintains working knowledge of products and/or services
? Prepares reports and correspondence as needed
? Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor including TAC support
Qualifications Education
? BA or BS in technical field (electrical engineering or computer science preferred)
Qualifications Experience
? 4-10 years experience as Network Consultant, System Engineer, Support Engineer or
other position in a field sales organization.
? 10 years engineering support/technical account management experience in a growth
environment with 5 years data/voice/video communications experience. Communications/
transport protocol knowledge.

? Extensive knowledge of Access solutions, Ethernet, VoIP, IP routing, ADSL, VDSL,
G.SHDSL, optical networking and telephony practices and procedures is required
? Must demonstrate exceptional initiative and creativity in the development of technical
solutions for complex situations
? The candidate must possess the ability to clearly and concisely present complex ideas and
solution concepts to the customer's sales and technical staff
? Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the area of sales presentations, sales cycles, and
closing of sales
? Consultative approach to providing customer solutions and design
? Customer focused, results oriented
? Strong written, oral communication skills to include presentation skills, interpersonal skills,
and a professional business image
? Ability to multi-task and meet multiple timelines
? Knowledge of PC-based applications, Visio preferred
? Strong industry background
? Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the
workplace
? Bilingual English, Spanish and Portuguese as a minimum
? Able to be a self-starter and have the ability to work from a home office without direct
supervision
? Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
