We are seeking an intelligent and highly-motivated Sales Engineer with enterprise selling skills. This is a terrific opportunity to join a fast growing organization with a best-of-breed solution for the emerging Enterprise 2.0/Web 2.0 marketplace. Our ideal candidate has previous experience programming dynamically driven websites, but still has the ability to influence Programmers, Marketers, and C Level Execs to purchase.
Responsibilities
Working with the Sales Reps on account calls and web presentations
Traveling when appropriate
Installing and configuring Proof of Concept demos for prospective clients
Aiding with responses to RFPs/RFIs and prospective client technical questions
Assisting prospective clients during their evaluation process
Establish and maintain relationships with key customers
Maintain a public and internal sandbox for customer demos/evaluation
Assist the marketing team with documentation, advisory group calls
Pre-qualify & when appropriate scope consulting opportunities for the Professional Services team
Assist the Support and Professional Services teams as needed
Provide feedback to product management and engineering team on product features
Required Skills and Experience
BS in Computer Science or Engineering. MBA helpful.
Experience with Enterprise relationships in the Fortune 500
Experience programming in a web environment, both client and server side.
Current Java development skills
Experience with Web Services(REST/SOAP)
Architectural knowledge of standard web technologies, including application servers, web servers, relational databases, etc
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to translate the business value of technical features
