Summary:
Drives the pre-sales technical process with customers for the sale of SafeNet Software Rights Management (SRM) solutions. This individual will work very closely with the sales team, and will be expected to take ownership for not only answering technical questions and concerns from the customer, but for actively driving the technical engagement towards a favorable outcome. The successful candidate will not only be technically adept, but will also be able to provide customers with a vision for success in utilizing SafeNet Software Rights Management solutions, and will take primary ownership of the technical relationships with prospects.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. An equivalent combination of education & experience is acceptable.
Experience:
2-5 years experience in a customer facing technical role.
Experience with major ERP and CRP vendors highly desirable (modules/integration points)
Language experience with C/C++, Java and .NET
Experience with Web Services and cloud infrastructure highly desirable
Experience with licensing and entitlement management desired, not required.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
Exhibited track record supporting technical products, including proposal creation, RFI responses and solution architecture presentation
Ability to work in a low-structured, independent and fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of use, market, and implementation of software products both in on-premise and cloud environments.
Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Pre-sales Technical
Pre-sales technical support for all SafeNet hardware and software products for designated region
Support regional account managers on technical issues with products.
Assist in responding to RFI and RFP?s as necessary with primary focus on the technical components of the response.
Liaise with the Professional Services group in the scoping and pricing of Professional Service Engagements, and serve as a validation point for such proposals.
Document and deliver enhancement requests to Product Management as necessary
Sales Support
Assist sales to identify and qualify all opportunities for assigned strategic accounts and general inquiries.
Creates and delivers accurate and technically correct sales presentations to potential customers.
Work with inside sales support staff and pre and post sales staff to further customer relationships.
Special projects and duties as assigned
May include public speaking at industry events and trade shows
