Sr. Software Developer/Lead
This position requires an experienced applicant with technology project leadership, interactive application management and current hands on development skills. The Development Lead is responsible for the development process, functionality development oversight, and platform expertise. Cross-functional communication, both written and verbal, is required. Responsibilities
Apply Best Practices to application and code development.
Manage project communications, with sensitivity to development schedules.
Be the link between project-level implementation and overall project delivery by keeping a detailed view of specific program requirements, impacts, and opportunities.
Fulfill on requirements, communicate to internal stakeholders, and track development/delivery.
Hands on application development.
Proactively work with teams to identify and drive issues to resolution.
Contribute to risk management plans.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical, creative, and third party.
Participate in continuous improvement of development, delivery, and testing practices.
Experience & Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in Business, CS, or CIS. Masters Degree preferred
5-7 years of application delivery experience in emerging technologies
Experience or interest in the Agile development process
Recent code level development experience.
Development experience with rich internet applications or mobile application development preferred.
Proven track record in successful contribution to team and individual efforts
Exceptional troubleshooting and problems solving skills.
Motivated, highly organized, committed to continuous improvement and learning
Ability to multi-task and switch easily between tasks and multiple projects
Collaborative and influence-based skills
Technical aptitude required
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Occasional travel required
