Some Key Responsibilities include:
Implement software design and development methods that provide high-value, high-quality products
Establishing software development processes and metrics that effectively measure and improve code performance
Develop and write code for searching and delivering large amounts of data
Taking ownership of the Enterprise Platform and adding new functionality as required
Working with SOAP Web Services
Architect, develop and write code for product solutions using Java, SQL, XML, Spring and scripting languages
Skills/Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent practical experience
10 years of software development (design, code, test)
8+ years Java development
6+ years PL/SQL development
Solid knowledge of multi-threaded programming, J2EE and SOAP Web Services
Solid knowledge and understanding of J2EE, Linux, BASH scripting
Solid understanding of Oracle database programming
Experience working with high concurrency systems
Demonstrated ability to create design document elements from established project requirements
Must be an outstanding coder, source code organizer, and strong technical mentor
Digital Video and/or Music or media experience preferred
