Vertafore is building game-changing service oriented software and we?re looking for a Senior Engineer to drive the Release Engineering Standards and Practices. We are moving to a continuous delivery system with full automation for dozens of scrum teams. The right candidate will thrive on delivering software sevices from the development team design through deployment in the data center.
You will be a key member of a small team of dedicated engineers that will lead Vertafore into this future. We seek your subject matter expertise in building automation to build systems from the operating system up. We seek your expertise with MSBuild, a Repository, Oracle Technology Stack, Jenkins, and Clould technologies.
While our competitors are building and deploying solutions at yesterday?s pace, we?re looking for a Senior Engineer to help us build solutions that truly change the way we deploy software with a new Agile Release Train and Continous Deployment system. The challenges facing these developers include building and
deploying service-oriented applications that can expose functionality flexibly to different user bases, evolving a legacy product suite to this target architecture, and leading product teams to achieve the product vision through active mentoring, technical decision-making, and facilitating company-wide collaboration.
Five plus years of experience building automation to deploy web-based enterprise applications, ideally in an Agile environment
Coaching knowledge for building and deploying software and services
Working knowledge of Microsoft technology stack: .Net, MSBuild, C#, Powershell, Deployments
Hands-on experience deploying the Oracle technology stack: Linux and Oracle Fusion Middleware
An inherent drive to solve problems, collaborate with others and mentor team member
Demonstrated ability to produce well-written and succinct technical analysis and documentation to stakeholders in development and product management
