Job Summary





A critical member of the Varolii engineering team, responsible for taking a leadership role in the design, creation and maintenance of 100% Uptime guaranteed Web Applications (including UI), Services, SOAP and Database systems.

Design, develop, and document new service functionality (SaaS)

Develop high performance object-oriented C#, Java or Ruby on Rails code

Design and implement a new Web User Interface

Implement database schema and associated queries

Implement Web Services using existing SOAP and/or RESTful APIs

7 ? 11 or more years professional experience writing C#, C++, or other Object Oriented Languages

Experience with the software development life cycle (agile planning, grooming, documentation, rapid Sprint-based development, desired)

Experience with web based client server applications

Familiarity with C#, Ruby, Java, JSON

SQL Server and ASP.NET MVC

Advanced knowledge of HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, DOM, DCOM, XML, and CSS

Competency with JQuery

Experience developing in a Windows environment

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Five or more years of working in production-level 100% uptime web applications and large scale databases,

SQL Server stored procedure design and performance tuning,

Business and System use case, and/or Agile Stories and Epics generation,



Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred or the equivalent experience
