If so, we want to speak with you!PivotLink ? the leader in SaaS Business Intelligence, is looking for passionate and talented Senior Software Developer to join our innovative product development team to help create the next generation of SaaS Business Analytics. In this position, you?ll be responsible for architecting the software and systems implementation of various aspects of a high performance distributed computing platform as well as interfacing with existing technology partners, collaborating with internal development teams, and working with the Dev and QA teams to deliver projects on time, on-budget and on-specification.
Required Skills
5-10 years of strong software development experience using modern language/frameworks (Java, C#, Scala, etc.).
Experience with Hadoop/MapReduce and other related technologies such as Cascading.
Experience designing and deploying large scale distributed data processing systems.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with developers, QA, product management, and other key stakeholders.
Passion for innovation, getting things done, solving real problems, and learning new things.
BS in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience. Master?s degree a plus.
Prior Linux/Unix development experience required.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with modern Web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX) a plus.
Experience with cloud development patterns and tools highly desirable.
Experience with mobile applications is a big plus.
Experience with Spring, Maven, Eclipse, Subversion.
