We are hiring a DelPhi Programmer to join our Eden Prairie team. This division specializes in HEDIS and other healthcare quality metric software and services to support a customer base primarily composed of health plans and providers located around the US.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Participate in evaluating and recommending software development tools for client server application.
Code software enhancements and manage the entire software development life cycle.
Understand users workflow and design software which meets user functional requirements and service levels for response time and availability.
Estimate level of effort and elapsed time to design, code, and test software including redesigning existing code.
Write, document, and unit test code based on designs.
Apply interpersonal skills in creating effective working relationships with team members to complete efficient/effective software development output.
Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Job Qualifications:
BS Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
4+ years of Delphi(versions 2006, 2010), Visual Pascal, and Object Oriented development experience
5+ years experience with MS Windows development
4+ years experience developing database applications, which access databases in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Access
Experience preparing design deliverables for custom-developed client/server applications and software to integrate applications into commercial products to market.
Experience with the entire life cycle of application development processes
Ability to provide leadership and communication, as required, to a team of programmer/analysts by resolving technical issues; establishing design, coding, and testing priorities; assigning design, coding, and testing tasks to team members; and working with management to resolve nontechnical issues.
Excellent problem solving skills
Familiarity with formal software development processes and best practices.
Experience developing for the health care industry
