Sr. Software Engineer - Email MyBuys

This is key member of engineering team with deep experience building Email Marketing solutions who make a big impact on the development of our targeted Email products.

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Hands on technical role; contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including the analysis, architecture, design, implementation, and QA
Collaboration on requirements; work with the Engineering, Product Management and Client Success teams to define features to help improve results for our customers and ourselves alike
Work closely with our Optimization team to run experiments to improve results
Partner with our Operations team to ensure excellent email deliverability

Prerequisites
Requires a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Startup Experience

Requirements

8+ years hands on experience building scalable multi-tenant hosted applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Velocity, and JMS on a Linux/Oracle platform
Experience developing solutions with one or more Mail Transfer Agents (MTA) (e.g., Postfix, qmail, or SendMail)
Expertise in Email protocols and Email deliverability (e.g., DKIM, R-DNS, SPF, spam filters, and ISPs)
Knowledge of rich HTML Email and a pixel perfect attention to detail for high quality email rendering in all major Mail User Agents
Prior experience at an Email Service Provider or an Email marketing platform
Good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of web browser tech (Http, JavaScript, DOM, Cookies)
Experience with Mobile messaging a plus.
