Duties:
We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong embedded design background in the Networking/Telecom industry to design new features, support existing products and be an influential member of the Overture Networks Software Engineering team.
Qualifications:
Embedded, real-time software design including high-availability systems.
C and/or C++ development experience.
Networking interfaces, including Ethernet, T1, DS3 and SONET/SDH.
Experience with Linux and/or other real-time embedded OSes.
Management of devices such as Framers, LIUs and MACs.
TCP/IP, SNMP applications.
Source code control systems.
Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills.
Strong written and oral communications skills.
BS or MS degree in CS or EE or equivalent experience required
