Sr. Software Engineer - iOS Linux App - REQ#AO7247 AOptix Technologies

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS:

AOptix Technologies is looking for an individual contributor to the biometrics software development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining the product.

Candidate must possess strong interpersonal communication including oral, written, and face-to-face communication skills.

The candidate is organized, dedicated, articulate, energetic, and results oriented team player with positive attitude and excellent technical and people skills.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Design, develop, test, and maintain iOS/Mac OS X and Linux middleware
Write unit testing tool, unit test and system integration
Document code and write design, functional, and API/Messaging interface specification
Define test cases
Verify integration build






QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS - EXPERIENCE:


Extensive experience writing Object C, and C/C++ in Linux platforms
Working experience developing iOS and Mac OS X application and middleware a must
Experience in Serial and USB interfaces and strong socket programming, Bluetooth and WIFI a plus
Experience implementing file systems, integrating CMOS sensors, power management, etc.
Having background in multi-modal biometric applications a plus
Good communication skills and ability to attend to details
2+ years of relevant experience
BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields.
