ABT Molecular Imaging was founded in 2006 with the mission to provide access to all significant F-18 and C-11 PET biomarkers to imaging providers, both clinical and pre-clinical. ABT develops, manufactures, and markets ?PET Biomarker Generators? for the medical and biotechnology industries. The PET Biomarker Generator is designed to produce ?Dose-on-Demand? short half-life fluorine-18 and carbon-11 radiopharmaceuticals for PET imaging.The Sr. Software Engineering role is a key player on the team for development of control software for a fully integrated biomarker generator, including an accelerator, automated chemistry and quality control methods and processes for a novel, fully automated PET biomarker system. This role includes the development of devices, instrumentation and consumable PET biomarker kits.
Responsibilities/Duties:
??Develop standalone software products to support manufacturing
??Software Deployment and Management
??Work cross-functionally with chemistry, manufacturing, engineering and quality departments
??Collaboration with team to prepare and design system improvements
??R&D Sub-Routine Development
??Software Validation Documentation and Execution
??Field Site Support for software and hardware
Qualifications:
Required:
??Bachelors in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineer
??10-15 years of experience in embedded controls software design
??Experience with embedded hardware and distributed I/O
??Experience with Labview
??Network Setup and Support experience
Preferred:
??Experience with automated chemistry instrumentation preferred
??Electromechanical design experience
??Experience with National Instruments data acquisition and control systems
??Experience with LabView Real-Time Module, FPGA Module
??Experience with accelerators a plus
??Experience with motion control systems
