Etsy is seeking a talented PHP developer to help support the evolution of our mobile applications, which are enabling new ways to discover and interact with the world?s most vibrant online marketplace. As a member of the Mobile Team, you?ll be joining a small, collaborative team responsible for the end-to-end development of our native mobile applications (currently iOS and Android) and the long-term vision of Etsy on mobile devices. Together we'll enable Etsy sellers to manage their shops and allow shoppers to find and purchase hand-crafted goods all while on the go using their mobile devices.About the Mobile Team

About the Position
You will:
? Drive development of features that impact over 11 million Etsy members.
? Extend Etsy?s API to support new features being added to our mobile applications.
? Own interaction points between Etsy.com and Etsy?s native applications.
? Prototype new ideas and help explore new technologies that are at the forefront of mobile technology and commerce
About You
You are:
? Experienced developing for the web, ideally using Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.
? Experienced working with and designing APIs (e.g. REST).
? Enthusiastic about the potential in mobile applications and mobile commerce.
? Passionate about end-to-end user experience design.
? Interested in learning about iOS and Android development.

? You have prior experience building native mobile apps or mobile web applications.
