Sr. Software Engineer Datran Media

Job Description



Working with technical architect, create technical design for a software system in C# and ASP.NET. Code, test, and monitor system. Perform data processing, warehousing and analysis on data systems using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio and Microsoft .NET technologies. Utilize experience with debugging, including logical flaws and knowledge of infinite loop, effective research skills, logic algorithms, .NET data structures, LINQ, WCF, and modern software architectures. Create estimates for completing development assignments and work with the project manager to create and commit to project scheduled. Develop software within designed modern software architecture according to the project schedule, operating within the bounds of Agile software development. Understand the needs of the business and work with the project manager to inform him/her of functional design and schedule tradeoffs. Prepare system for deployment.



College Degree and Work Experience Requirements



Requirements include a Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, or related field and five years of work experience in the job offered or related field of senior software engineering, program analysis, software consulting or software engineering.



Special Requirements



Must have project management experience. Must have experience with debugging, including logical flaws and knowledge of infinite loop. Must have demonstrated effective research skills researching online, in books and other periodicals. Must have experience with logic algorithms. Must have ability to identify and utilize .NET data structures, LINQ, WCF, C#, Microsoft .NET technologies (including .NET 3.5, ASP.NET, .NET), SQL Server, modern software architectures (including SOA: Service Oriented Architecture), and Visual Studio. Must have Agile Programming experience, including Scrum.
