Responsibilities
We are constantly looking to add to our AMAZING team! Presently, we are in search of ASP.NET/C# Developers! Our developers are responsible for developing next generation, data-base driven, web software products. Schoolnet?s applications are large, scalable, multi-tier enterprise applications developed entirely on the .NET platform. Successful candidates must have a full understanding of the tools, platforms and software used to develop world-class projects. Experience in formal software design processes is appreciated but a premium is place on experience in agile software development. ---NOTE: CURRENTLY ONLY ENTERTAINING LOCAL CANDIDATES---
What you?ll be doing?
Participating in an agile scrum team to plan, scope, and develop new product capabilities
Designing, coding and testing new software development projects
Refactoring and rearchitecting existing software
Applying test-driven development principals while authoring unit tests and integration tests
Researching and resolving customer-reported issues
Keeping team members aware of work status and impediments
Qualifications
What we?re looking for?
6+ years experience programming multi-tier ASP.NET applications in C#
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Advance degree a plus
Strong experience with data access technologies including LINQ and SQL
Strong experience with web technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
Understanding of current software design principals and concepts
A devotion to writing clean code and implementing pixel-perfect layout
Strong written and verbal communication skills
