We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer to assume a key role in developing our large scale, distributed infrastructure. We are rapidly expanding delivery of our big data analytics and advertising services for the booming mobile app marketplace, so here?s your chance to join us and make significant contributions to current and future versions of Flurry's advertising system as part of a dedicated engineering team.We are looking for someone with solid experience developing applications using a Java technology stack. If you are comfortable with all levels of the application stack from persistence to the front end, this is the role for you!
Requirements:
Strong background in software development with Java
Experience with Linux-based, large-scale, distributed, applications
Strong web application development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSPs) OR Mobile development experience
Experience with relational databases, SQL and transactions.
Demonstrated ability to deploy operational systems and working in an agile environment.
Good communication skills.
BS or MS in Computer Science
Bonus:
Experience building applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
Experience with Key-Value or NoSQL storage technologies such as: HBase, BigTable, Redis, Memcache, or similar
Production experience with Hadoop or MapReduce
Large scale machine learning systems
